The Slovak company Tatravagonka Bratstvo, which has been successfully operating in Serbia for the past 15 years, has opened a new production facility where it will manufacture a new type of freight wagon designed for container transport.
Tatravagonka Bratstvo is a fully export-oriented company employing more than 500 workers and continuously investing in new technologies, enabling its railway wagons to compete successfully on European and international markets.
The factory has an annual capacity for around 1,000 major freight wagon overhauls, as well as the production of approximately 1,000 new wagons. In terms of production volume, the factory in Subotica is the largest within the Slovak group’s operations in Europe.
For the past six years, Tatravagonka’s facilities have also been producing tank wagons for the transport of liquid cargo. In the newly opened 9,000-square-metre production hall, the company has now launched the manufacturing of a new type of wagon intended for container transportation.
