Evropska Unija opredelila je 175 miliona EUR za modernizaciju \u017eelezni\u010dke pruge na sekciji Bar-Golubovci, deo TEN-T koridora Zapadni Balkan \u2013 Isto\u010dni Mediteran.
\nOva sekcija pruge u du\u017eini od 39 kilometara povezuje nalazi se na koridoru koji povezuje Luku Bar sa Beogradom, spajaju\u0107i Crnu Goru i Zapadni Balkan sa Centralnom Evropom. Modernizacija se vr\u0161i u cilju pove\u0107anja brzine, pouzdanosti, bezbednost i kapaciteta \u017eelezni\u010dke infrastrukture. Procenjuje se da \u0107e nakon modernizacije pruga omogu\u0107iti prevoz 1,3 miliona putnika i 1,85 miliona tona tereta godi\u0161nje.
\nUkupna vrednost projekta procenjena je na 230,8 miliona EUR, a najve\u0107im delom je finansiran kroz grant Evropske komisije od 112,6 miliona EUR i kreditom Evropske investicione banke u iznosu od 63 miliona EUR. Ostatak se finansira kreditom Evropske banke za obnovu i razvoj od 50 miliona EUR kao i sa 5,2 miliona EUR sredstava Vlade Crne Gore.

The European Union has allocated EUR 175 million for the modernization of the Bar\u2013Golubovci railway section, part of the TEN-T Western Balkans \u2013 Eastern Mediterranean corridor. This 39-kilometer railway section lies on the corridor connecting the Port of Bar with Belgrade, linking Montenegro and the Western Balkans with Central Europe. The modernization aims to increase speed, reliability, safety, and capacity of the railway infrastructure. Following completion, the upgraded line is expected to enable the transport of 1.3 million passengers and 1.85 million tonnes of freight annually. The total value of the project is estimated at EUR 230.8 million. The largest share of financing comes from a European Commission grant of EUR 112.6 million and a EUR 63 million loan from the European Investment Bank. The remaining funding is provided through a EUR 50 million loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, along with EUR 5.2 million contributed by the Government of Montenegro. Technical support for project preparation in line with EU environmental, social, and technical standards is provided through JASPERS, an advisory program of the European Commission and the European Investment Bank.
