Supervisor Appointed for Belgrade Rail and Bridge Project

A consortium of seven companies has been selected to supervise the construction of the new Belgrade railway station and the reconstruction of the associated bridge infrastructure. The supervision contract, awarded through a public procurement procedure by Serbia’s Ministry of Construction, is valued at approximately €8.3 million.

The consortium includes several domestic firms: the AG Institute from Novi Sad, the Belgrade Railway Junction Construction Company, geodetic services firm Meridijan Projekt (Novi Sad), and Sour Inženjering 2017 from Sremski Karlovci.

In addition, the consortium features three international participants: SGS Inspecciones Reglamentarias from Spain, Infracert TSI from Poland, and Infracert d.o.o. from Croatia, which will act as the consortium’s authorized representative.

The main construction and bridge reconstruction contract, worth €138 million, has been awarded to Chinese contractor China Shandong International Economic & Technical Cooperation Group.
