The Czech company Škoda Transportation and the Serbian firm MIND Park signed a memorandum of understanding in Belgrade.
The memorandum “highlights the intention to localise the production of railway vehicles at MIND Park in Serbia, in cooperation with the MIND Group in Kragujevac”.
Olesea Laki, Vice-President of Škoda for South-Eastern Europe, stated that “trust and technical expertise are the best way” to present Škoda in Serbia.
“I believe that cooperation, trust and technical expertise are the best way for us to present ourselves to the Serbian market. I wish us much success and a good start to our cooperation,” said Olesea Laki, Vice-President of the Škoda Group for South-Eastern Europe.
The General Director of MIND Park, Darko Đorić, stated that cooperation with Škoda represents a “strategic opportunity”.
“Cooperation with Škoda represents a strategic opportunity for us. Together we are creating the foundations for the production of modern railway vehicles in Serbia and strengthening our country’s position in advanced industrial manufacturing,” said Đorić.
