Croatian Railways Infrastructure has signed an agreement with the company Plasser & Theurer for
the procurement of railway vehicles for special purposes, i.e., strategic machinery, wagons, and small
railway equipment.

The value of the contract signed after the public procurement procedure amounts to 49.4 million
euros, and the funds were provided from the loan of the European Investment Bank.

Based on the contract, the Austrian company will deliver a total of nine specialized rail vehicles to CR
Infrastructure, namely:
• machine for height and direction regulation of tracks
• machine for purifying the curtain prism
• two machines for height and direction regulation of tracks and switches
• two machines for planning the curtain prism
• three tipper wagons with conveyor belts.
